Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Assist in the preparation and service of food and prepare mise en place for the outlets as required.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to our guests.
• Continually look for opportunities to recommend improvements and additions to Anantara presentation guidelines.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
• Maintain food safety and protection. Ensure all food in working areas complies with proper food-handling techniques, including dating, storage, and rotation.
• Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Take responsibility for looking after all hotel property and facilities.
• Participate in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels.
• Maintain and oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Assist at events, banquets, and other functions as required.
