Jr. Accountant

A Jr. Accountant is responsible for serving as an accounting generalist in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Jr. Accountant, you would be responsible for serving as an accounting generalist in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform general accounting responsibilities
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Review discrepancies and problem accounts
• Account analysis and adjustments as instructed by Finance Manager and/or Director of Finance.
• Process different financial reports
• Participate in audits.
• Perform accounts receivables and accounts payables duties.
• Perform general cashier duties.
• Accurately process reports including, but not limited to, month-end closing, monthly forecast and variance, inventories, audits, etc.
• Assist with general accounting duties, as needed.
• Vacations relief for the areas as assigned by Finance Manager and/or Director of Finance,
• Perform any duties and responsibilities assigned by the Finance Manager and/or Director of Finance, based on departmental needs.
