Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is looking for a Kitchen Mechanic (Full-Time) to join their amazing team!

This luxurious oceanfront retreat offers a world of style, service and connection with globally inspired architecture and design. The hotel has 290 rooms with an expansive pool terrace with private cabanas, a 6^th floor fitness center, a tranquil boutique Spa, over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 5 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, pool side grill, cocktail lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

• Classification: Full-Time

• Shift: Shifts are 8 hours long and usually start anytime between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m. Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays required.

A Kitchen Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel’s kitchen equipment and machinery in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Kitchen Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel’s kitchen equipment and machinery in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of kitchen equipment and machinery
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Perform equipment repairs
• Record and report completed repairs in log book or property management system
• Respond to team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
