Pastry Cook

***The ideal candidate brings at least (2) years of pastry cook experience in restaurants and/or a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. Experience in scratch kitchens preferred.

Shift Pattern: Open availabilty, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. Typical shifts are evenings, 3pm – 11pm, however morning availability is required.

As a Pastry Cook, you’re not just preparing great tasting bakery and pastry items – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Create high-quality baked goods: Prepare and bake pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts following designated recipes and quality standards
  • Present food items with care: Arrange and display baked goods according to specifications, ensuring an appealing presentation
  • Manage pastry inventory: Ensure proper storage, refrigeration, and organization of all pastry products while preparing daily requisitions for supplies and food items
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Keep designated food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
  • Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
