Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential structures.

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in various buildings
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize future problems and extend the life of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other maintenance professionals on multi-disciplinary projects
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients and team members
• Assist in light construction, carpentry, and related tasks as needed
• Manage inventory of plumbing supplies and tools, requisitioning materials as necessary

• Proven experience as a Plumber in commercial and/or residential settings
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, and waste removal
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations in Qatar
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform plumbing tasks in various environments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to plumbing work
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Flexibility to work in different weather conditions, including hot climates
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles when required
• Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant personality
• Organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
