GALLERY one – a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton is seeking a Part-Time Pool Attendant to join our team! Our heated outdoor pool, open year-round, offers stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Located just a five-minute walk from The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale and only half a mile from the beach, our hotel provides the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. We’re also just five miles from Port Everglades, making us a favorite for convention and cruise travelers.

The ideal candidate is available to work Friday-Sunday, is comfortable working in an outdoor environment, and has experience as a Pool/Recreation Attendant.

Shift Pattern: Friday-Sunday

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet guests and attend to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc.
• Clean the pool area including, but not limited to, ashtrays, furniture, tables, decks, pool tiles, shower tiles, slide tiles, rocks and cabanas
• Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss
• Maintain equipment including, but not limited to, umbrellas, speakers, rafts, pool toys, etc.
• Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards
