Pool & Beach Attendant

A Pool and Beach/ Activities Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ensures guest satisfaction by delivering product quality and consistency and executing excellence through the entire guest experience. Give personalized guest service and maximize customer satisfaction in the Pool & Beach Department.

What will I be doing?
As a Pool and Beach/ Activities Attendant, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Issues or rents, towels, umbrellas, pool and beach chairs, palapas, cabanas and similar items.
• Unfold chairs, blankets and umbrellas and set them up at sunrise.
• Keeps pool and beach area clean.
• Picks up rubbish along beach or near pool.
• Keep chair, palapas and cabana reservations in line.
• Collect towels for laundering.
• Folds and stores chairs, blankets, and umbrellas at sundown.

Provides courteous, efficient service to all pool and beach customers:

• Caters to customers while personalizing their experience.
• Assists customers with towels and other pool and beach needs.
• Assists customers with hotel and local activities information.
• Adds to the customer experience through a smile and engaging guest in conversation.
• Upholds the highest standards of service at all times.
• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
• Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
• Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
• Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
