As the first and last touchpoint of our guests’ journey, you will embody the essence of French art de vivre, creating a seamless and sophisticated experience from arrival to departure. With grace and intuition, you will anticipate needs, curate personalized recommendations, and ensure every moment is effortlessly magnifique.

Your role extends beyond the lobby—you will orchestrate seamless valet services, oversee impeccable guest assistance, and bring the charm of Sofitel to life with every interaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests, answer questions, and provide general facility directions.
• Collection, delivery, handling and storage of all guest luggage as per procedure and record on the log book.
• Demonstrate excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage with guests in a warm, professional and confident manner.
• Deliver guests correspondence and packages to rooms or wherever designated and record on the log book.
• Prepare and serve welcome drinks as required
• Escort guests to their rooms, explaining the facilities of the hotel en route.
• Assist with parking and collection of guest cars following procedures at all times.
• Help clear tables in the Bar and Club Lounge wherever/whenever required.
• Assist with setting up the Club Lounge and service and support Club service when required, including clearing tables, replenishing items and assisting guests as part of the overall guest experience.
• Monitor the lobby, lobby bar and Club Lounge and promptly clear used glasses, cups and other items left by guests, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays in line with operational requirements
• A desire to grow and progress within Sofitel

This role is Part Time (Minimum 32 hours per week) – Must hold full NZ working rights.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Full New Zealand Driver’s License is required.
• Strong time management and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent grooming standards.
• Strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
