Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to combine guest service excellence with administrative expertise. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving or departing during the late hours, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining accurate financial and operational records. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that leaves a lasting positive impression on our guests.  Hours of shifts are 11 PM – 7 AM, working two nights a week.  The range of pay is $17 – 22, DOE.

What will I be doing?

  • Greet and assist guests during late-night check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Manage front desk operations, including reservations, guest inquiries, and billing processes using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, posting charges, and balancing accounts.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or issues, demonstrating excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
  • Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access to the property, and conducting safety inspections as needed.
  • Prepare detailed shift reports highlighting any incidents, discrepancies, or maintenance needs to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
  • Support other departments such as housekeeping or maintenance by relaying guest requests or operational updates efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or hospitality roles is highly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions with professionalism and courtesy.
