Reception Supervisor

RECEPTION SUPERVISOR, FRONT OFFICE

4 days on, 4 days off, 12 hour shifts

 

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is looking for a Reception Supervisor to join our Front Office team.

As a Reception Supervisor at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the receptionist team, conducting on the job trainings, and providing feedback.
  • Providing arrival and departure updates, monitoring room status’ and handling booking levels with reservations.
  • Conducting handover briefings and ensuring consistent communication with the reception team, keeping them informed at all times.
  • Ensuring quality control of guest service and being a role model for the team in regard to standards.
  • Being the first point of contact for guest complaints.

 

As a Reception Supervisor you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

 

To be a successful Reception Supervisor candidate, you must have previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel environment. You will be an excellent communicator with a passion for delivering high quality customer service.
