ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the MICE Sales Manager at W Edinburgh is an integral member of the sales team, responsible for overseeing group and catering related opportunities.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel’s operation. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and enjoys building long-lasting relationships with clients.

As MICE Sales Manager, key aspects of your role will include:

  • Work with the Director of Sales and team to ensure understanding of sales strategy and the effective implementation of this strategy for the segments you are responsible for.
  • Provide positive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential.
  • Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
  • Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
