BASIC PURPOSE:
The Security Officer is a key individual in achieving the goals and quality standards of the Security Department. The Security Officer must follow and perform all the duties and standards in the department. The mission for the Security Department is: “protect the life and safety of our guests and employees, protect physical assets and property, ensure security standards are met and maintained and provide service to guests and employees”.
As such, the Security Officer has responsibility for:
Performing security patrol and duties on a day-to-day basis. Working with the Security Supervisor, Assistant Manager Safety & Loss Prevention and the Director of Safety & Loss Prevention to be proficient in the department operations, in his/her responsibility and for other special projects as may be requested.
