Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Senior AC & Refrigeration Technician, you’re not just performing daily guest room maintenance– you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, split units, package units, and cold storage equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, fans, motors, and filters.
• Ensure proper refrigerant charging and leak detection procedures are followed.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the installation of new AC and refrigeration systems.
• Recommend system upgrades and improvements for better energy efficiency.
• Ensure all installations comply with hotel and industry safety regulations.
• Monitor system performance to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
• Follow all hotel safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Handle refrigerants safely and responsibly according to environmental guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest and staff requests regarding temperature or equipment concerns.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Food & Beverage, to ensure refrigeration and AC systems support operational needs.
• Provide technical support and training to other maintenance team members as needed.
