• Ensure the establishment and execution of all departmental goals and key performance indicators
• Assist in the development of the spa’s standard operating procedures and policy relating to safety and emergency procedures. Ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adherence to the policies
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise spa staff members, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service standards and professional development opportunities
• Meet with group meeting planners to showcase spa facilities and programs. Promote and sell customized spa packages and wellness programs to conference groups and corporate clients as required
• Provide and take responsibility for the professional delivery of all information via emails, telephone, and in person to all potential spa guests and corporate partners
• Work with the Marketing and Communications department regarding all aspects of spa promotions, digital presence, and brand positioning. Assist in the implementation of marketing plans and public relations programs
• Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques to identify market opportunities
• Monitor scheduling of all services and special programming to optimize resource allocation and maximize revenue generation
• Establish and maintain professional business relationships with all vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Review purchase requisitions and forward to Director of Rooms for approval, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines
• Review and approve all invoices before payment, verifying accuracy and adherence to contracted terms
• Manage spa budget and financial performance, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and profitability analysis
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spa products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock management and waste reduction
