Seasonal Steward Helper

As a Steward Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our Culinary Team to deliver exceptional dining experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Chief Steward, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating industrial dishwashing equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Sorting, stacking, loading/unloading dishware, glassware, and kitchen utensils
• Ensuring all items are cleaned, dried, and stored properly and safely
• Removing damaged or chipped items from circulation and documenting breakages
• Maintaining clean and dry kitchen floors to ensure a safe work environment
• Following all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Supporting fellow team members with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Performing other duties as assigned by the leadership team

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous cleaning or stewarding experience is an asset
• A reliable, responsible individual with a strong work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preference will be given to applicants who can commit to the full duration of the season (October 2025, to February 2026)

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or ladders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with varying temperatures and conditions
