About the location:

1. The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
2. Inspect Fire alarm systems to ensure efficient operation by correct maintenance actions.
3. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on Fire alarm boards and detection systems.
4. Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions; install, replace or repair damaged equipment; calibrate controls.
5. Diagnose faults on electrical installations in machinery and equipment.
6. Inspect and observe installations and make good repairs when located.
7. Run new cabling and terminations when required.
8. Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; check motors and belt tensions.
9. Assist in planning and designing new installations for Fire systems.
10. Maintain records and write reports.
11. Supervise and work alongside staff and contract staff as needed to satisfy a complete and satisfactory product.
12. Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
13. Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as required.
14. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
15. The ability to assist in providing fire alarm repair and maintenance to all equipment relating to the fire alarm and fire prevention systems including the fire pumps.
16. The ability to assist in main line repair and replacement.
17. The ability to assist in installing electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment.
18. The ability to assist in providing electrical set-ups for exhibits and conventions including maintaining electrical equipment for exhibits.
19. The ability to assist in providing preventive maintenance of all electrical/mechanical/plumbing equipment and updating of appropriate logs.
20. The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.
21. Complete work orders in the correct time and standards.
22. The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner.
