Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.
What you will do:
- Clean and handle the initial processing of raw products
- Prepare mise-en-place and ingredients such as stocks, dressings, and more.
- Assist and train with line cooks.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, storage, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Keep your work area clean and orderly, promoting a safe working environment.
- Adheres to guidelines concerning consistency in taste and temperature, presentation, portion control and general quality of all food served.
- Assists in making food requisitions and daily market lists
- Work in all areas of food preparation as directed.
- Accommodate food servers’ requests regarding guest preferences.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
What you bring:
- Proficiency in English, math, and psychometric skills.
- Completion of O Levels.
- 3-4 years of experience in the Asian or Chinese Section
- Technical education in Hospitality is Preferred
- Personal flair and finesse.
