JOB DESCRIPTION
Embassy Suites Austin Downtown South Congress is searching for an Accounting Clerk to join their team!
Take in scenic views of the Austin skyline from our downtown hotel, located next to the Congress Avenue Bridge and Lady Bird Lake. The Austin Convention Center, Warehouse District, Sixth Street, and Second Street shops are less than a mile away. Enjoy our indoor pool, free made-to-order breakfast, and complimentary evening reception. The property consists of 262 guest rooms and over 2,300 sq ft of meeting space with 5 meeting rooms.
The ideal candidate has previous hospitality finance/accounting experience. Previous Hilton experience is preferred
What will I be doing?
As an Accounting Clerk, you would be responsible for responding to guest inquiries, resolving guest billing disputes, performing month-end duties and preparing daily receivables in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
