Job Description

 

The Golf Course Office Manager will be responsible for providing leadership support to the Golf Operation through Accounting, Business Management and Key System overview and training. The successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and is comfortable making quick and creative decisions, and exceeding guest expectations while demonstrating a high level of responsibility for their own actions.

Competitive Salary: $52,000 – $55,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education

Job Duties Include:

  • Implement and manage accounting procedures, including A/R, A/P, revenue reporting, inventory control, and financial SOPs in collaboration with the Director of Golf and FBSH Accounting.
  • Serve as the expert and lead trainer on golf-related systems (Concept, GolfEMS, POS, booking engines), ensuring accurate usage, troubleshooting, and ongoing staff training.
  • Oversee golf retail inventory, reconciliation, and reporting; manage memberships, gift certificates, lesson payouts, and other key liability accounts.
  • Maintain audit standards through daily reconciliation, tracking of rounds, voids, discounts, and complimentary play; ensure reporting accuracy for all programs and activations.
  • Represent Golf on hotel committees and act as the primary contact for Accounting and IT, while supporting day-to-day operations, colleague training, and departmental leadership.

 

Qualifications

 

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints is key to the success of this individual.
    • Attention to detail is paramount.
    • Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively.
    • Computer literate, with advanced Excel knowledge.
    • Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset
    • Previous administrative experience is considered an asset
    • Knowledge / previous use of Concept and GolfEMS is considered an asset.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
