Join the team of Four Seasons Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol as Palmerio Restaurant Chef.  On the stunning southern coast of Mexico’s Baja peninsula, experience Cabo’s Golden Corridor, ideally located between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.  In the heart of all the action, the coveted community of Cabo Del Sol is home to our modern hacienda-style village, with sparkling ocean views throughout. Create magical memories as hearts beat to the rhythm of Mexican music, art and culture – embraced by the warmth of our Four Seasons “familia.” This ultra-luxury ocean-front resort will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 Residences, Amenities will include three restaurants, five bars, three pools, an open-air fitness center designed by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, Spa with ten treatment rooms and relaxation oasis, and The Clubhouse.  The Clubhouse is perched above the resort with sweeping Ocean views, and it is being designed as THE place to host spectacular weddings and events for up to 250 people.  It will feature and event lawn for ceremonies, an indoor/outdoor ballroom, living room space for entertaining, and a bridal suite.

The role of the Restaurant Chef

The Restaurant Chef is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and directing the work of employees in the Kitchen Department responsible for food preparation while ensuring superior quality and consistency.

 

Knowledge and Skills  

  • Culinary School Graduate.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in Kitchen operations.
  • Proven track record in luxury dining environments, with a strong foundation in fine dining Italian-French cuisine
  • A European nationality or significant professional experience in Europe is required.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, including reading, writing, and oral communication
  • Solid knowledge of Food and Beverage service operations.
  • Have strong skills in kitchen administration and organization.
  • Strong communication, leadership and training skills.
  • The ability to train, lead, motivate and coach all employees in the Kitchen’s food production area to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; long-range strategic planning for outlet operation.
  • The ability to assist in the planning and development of menus and recipes, ensure the correct preparation and presentation of a consistent level for all food items prepared through production and demonstration, utilize creative menu planning to minimizing waste.
