Maintenance

As Staff Services Maintenance Person at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, your care and attention to detail will focus on the well-being of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge’s employees and residents.  This role has an integral impact on the satisfaction and comfort or residents in colleague accommodation.

Starting rate of Pay: $27.96 per hour

Reporting to the Housing Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment and furnishings within the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Housing Department
• Responsible for responding to maintenance calls from staff housing department
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and work orders assigned
• Responsible for daily inspection of fire prevention equipment
• Respond to any emergency calls while on duty
• Responsible for the upkeep and condition of all equipment both permanent and portable for the requirements of their job
• Ensure that all work orders assigned are completed in a timely manner.
• Work to be completed within an alternating schedule as required
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Related maintenance experience required
• Must possess a Valid Alberta Driver’s License
• High School/Technical School diploma
• General knowledge and/or experience of most building trades
• Knowledge and functional use of Microsoft Office
• Ability to troubleshoot in an un supervised environment
