Job Description

 

As a dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and hygienic operation of our bustling kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Dishwashing and Cleaning:

  •  Operating and maintaining industrial dishwashers.
  • Thoroughly washing, scrubbing, and cleaning all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and glassware, both by machine and by hand, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Sorting and stacking clean crockery, cutlery, and equipment in designated storage areas.

Kitchen Hygiene and Maintenance:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, walls, and storage areas.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment such as ovens, fridges, fryers, hoods, and cooking stations.
  • Assisting with the proper disposal and sorting of waste and recycling.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins regularly.
  • Ensuring adherence to all health, hygiene (HACCP), and safety regulations.

Support and Assistance:

  • Assisting the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables) when required.
  • Receiving and storing deliveries of kitchen supplies.
  • Supporting colleagues with various tasks to ensure a smooth workflow, especially during peak service hours.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or breakages to supervisors promptly.
