About the location:

Since opening in 1962, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas has been a playground for celebrities and discerning travellers set along an 8-kilometre (5-mile) stretch of natural, white-sand beach on Paradise Island. The Role of a Cook

A Cook is responsible for actively participating in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the standards outlined in the Culinary Division Master Job Description Manual. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Works with the entire Culinary Team on future planning, daily ordering, and activities that directly affect guest satisfaction.
  • Focuses on taste and consistency when producing food or pastry for our guests and always strives for perfection.
  • Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Ensure the working area is kept clean at all times.
  • Ensure a complete understanding of and adherence to the policies within the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • Attend training sessions as requested to develop the necessary skills to perform duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly functioning within the department and report any malfunctions to your supervisor promptly.
