Job Description

As a Reservations Specialist, you will record all details of incoming calls and coordinate each reservation ensuring guest satisfaction. The Reservations Specialist reflects the quality of the hotel to our potential guest through very strong communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Encouraging upselling and meeting set revenue targets each month;
  • Being fully aware of the hotel’s sales strategy, rates, packages, groups and booking status at all times;
  • Processing and responding within 24 hours to all reservation requests according to standards;
  • Being up-to-date with current hotel information and data including room types, rates, facilities, F&B departments and promotions;
  • Maximizing quality levels of product, service and guest satisfaction. Ensure that all guest satisfaction issues are reported, monitored and followed up in a timely manner;
  • Monitor daily arrivals by ensuring that all guest requests are fulfilled and that all expectations are met;
  • Attend hotel events, daily briefings and training to enhance professional skills.

  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness;
  • Stress resistance and an organized working method;
  • Flexibility, accuracy and helpfulness;
  • Always thinking one step ahead and attention to detail;
  • Relevant work experience is a plus.
