Senior Property Manager – 12 Month Contract

We operate like most other real estate agencies, except that we exclusively manage and sell Oaks Hotels & AVANI managed properties.

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our growing team at MINT Residential on a 12-month contract. Based in our Melbourne CBD office, you’ll be part of a small, supportive team that’s backed by the strength and scale of a global hotel group.

You’ll be managing a boutique portfolio of properties – giving you the perfect balance of challenge and control, without the overwhelm. This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative environment where your skills are valued, and your career can thrive, with very limited Saturday work required.

Key Responsibilities include: 

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of Minor Hotels branded apartments (Oaks Hotels, Avani Hotels)
• Manage incoming rental enquiries, always providing exceptional customer service
• Conduct open, routine, entry and exit inspections as required
• Communicate effectively with tenants
• Draft and support in the administration of leasing and property handovers
• Address maintenance issues and liaise with tradespeople
• Utilise the console cloud program for effective property management

To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and experience:

• A current Estate Agent’s Licence
• Hands-on trust accounting experience is essential
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Property Management
• Proficient in property management software (e.g., Property Me, Console,) highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants, owners and stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of property management procedures, including a strong understanding of current legislation requirements
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work towards deadlines and prioritise as required
• Positive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Availability to work Saturdays when required (limited)
