Housekeeping Coordinator

As a Housekeeping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Housekeeping department, acting as the central hub for communication and organization. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will directly impact the guest experience, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service. By efficiently dispatching requests and providing office support, you will contribute to our aspiration for Forbes 5-Star excellence, ensuring that every guest room and public space reflects the luxury and refinement expected at Waldorf Astoria.

What will I be doing?

  • Provide dispatching services and administrative support to ensure efficient housekeeping operations
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to guest and team member inquiries, and dispatch appropriate service in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
  • Utilize and maintain the work order system and property management system, including logging service requests, initiating and closing work orders, and generating reports
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Property Operations teams to ensure that vacant rooms are ready for guest arrival and communicate status updates to the Front Office
  • Monitor and respond to emergency calls and alarm systems to maintain guest and team member safety
  • Assist with office administration, including scheduling, payroll processing, inventory tracking, equipment maintenance, and guest feedback management
  • Ensure that all tasks align with Forbes 5-Star service standards, emphasizing precision, efficiency, and guest satisfaction

The rate of pay for this role is $40.00  – $41.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience.
