Team Member, Security

Description:

  • 1. To take charge of the hotel security during duty hours.

    2. Before taking over duty

  • be familiar with all the activities
  • which happened prior to that. Read the latest instructions and brief your subordinates of the past
  • present and near future events in the Hotel.

    3. Deploy your subordinates accordingly to the Duty Roster and supervise them.

    4. Enforce the Hotel’s Rules & Regulations

  • and discipline amongst officers.

    5. Ensure that the Security checkpoint is clean at all times. Check all books

  • files
  • security passes
  • identification documents’ keys in Presses
  • equipment
  • etc.
  • in the Security Office. Chick on associates part times
  • casuals
  • contractors
  • Visitors and their possessions when they leave the hotel.

    6. Key in detail during shift reports regarding incidents of theft

  • loss
  • injury
  • destruction of property and other matters affection the hotel in the computer.

    7. Take immediate action for the recovery of any item reported loss and found on hotel premises.

    8. Provide security coverage for VIP Guests

  • big groups during checking in/out of the hotel.

    9. Ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the Hotel’s entrance and report any cleaning or tidy required to Housekeeping office.

    10. Ensure all lost and found items are recorded in the computer. Hand them over to the Housekeeping Department as soon as possible and keep the Front Office.

    11. Witness the opening of the drop-safe at the General Cashier’s office.

    12. Be familiar with the Fire Emergency Plan and also a member of the Fire Fighting Team. To take necessary action whenever the fire Alarm activates.

    13. Render first aid to the sick or the injured person.

    14. Conducts investigation into all incidents and accidents.

    15. Performs any other duty as and when required by Security Manager or EAM / MHR

Qualifications:

  • At least vocational diploma in any field
    – At least 1 year experience in security or concerns
