Area Director of Finance

As Area Director of Finance, you will perform all duties of a hotel director of finance in the base hotel where you will direct the hotel’s financial operations and ensure the security of hotel assets.

Reporting on the financial state of hotel you’ll also make recommendations to improve hotel profitability. You’ll be the first point of contact for all hotel financial matter and you will serve as the main point of contact for all matters related to hotel finance and accounting with owners, auditors (internal and external), and regulatory authorities.

Acts as a liaison officer between Regional Finance Director and Director of Finance and Business Supports of the hotels in your area regarding all matters including month end closing, budgeting and forecasting and compliance matters.

財務・ビジネスサポート部門のエリアディレクターとして、自身が所属するホテルにおいてファイナンスディレクターとしての職務を遂行し、ホテルの財務運営を統括し、ホテル資産の安全性を確保します。

ホテルの財務状態を報告するほか、ホテル収益の向上に向けた提案も行います。オーナー、監査人(内部・外部)、規制当局とのホテル財務および会計に関するすべての問題における統括連絡窓口となります。

リージョナルファイナンスディレクターおよび管轄エリアのホテルの各ファイナンスディレクターの間のリエゾン役として、月次決算、予算およびフォーキャスト、コンプライアンス等を含むあらゆる面でのサポートを行う。

【What we need from you】

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance
  • 4-8 years’ experience in hotel accounting or audit with at least one year in an Assistant Controller or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g. negotiating hotel space and tenant leases; processing payroll; performing asset management duties; providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns etc
  • Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred.

  • 会計管理業務の知識(例:ホテルスペースやテナントの賃貸契約の交渉、給与計算の処理、資産管理業務の実施、事業予測の提供、移転分析、政府報告書の作成、税務申告書の提出など)
  • 会計および財務に関する専門資格または認定が望ましい。
