Resort Assistant Manager – Night Shift

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise and direct Front Desk staff during the overnight shift, ensuring all procedures and standards are upheld
  • Communicate effectively with day shift teams regarding guest requests, issues, and special requirements
  • Regularly tour the hotel to monitor departmental activities, ensuring standards, guest satisfaction, and staff support
  • Personally handle guest relocations according to established guidelines
  • Resolve guest complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and by phone
  • Review and prepare for late arrivals, early departures, and billing requirements to ensure smooth next-day operations
  • Manage room blocks and resolve discrepancies, paying close attention to Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups
  • Oversee all financial and credit procedures during the shift, including reconciliation of transactions and credit follow-ups
  • Respond swiftly to safety, security, and emergency situations to protect guests and employees
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, verify room assignments and rates, handle billing, and coordinate luggage delivery
  • Utilize hotel computer systems for guest management, reporting, night audit processes, and room blocking
  • Ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ work rules, standards of conduct, and policies
  • Maintain professional and cooperative relationships with all team members and departments
  • Inspect staff facilities and act as liaison with HR for overnight shift concerns

 

Who You Are:

  • A proactive leader with experience in front office or hotel supervision, especially in overnight operations
  • Strong problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused, committed to delivering personalized and professional service
