About the role:

The Director of Housekeeping is a strategic leader responsible for the overall cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of all guest accommodations, public areas, hear of house spaces, and laundry operations. In addition to managing the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments, the Director will serve as a key stakeholder in hotel and guest room hard renovations, ensuring aesthetic, functional, and brand standards are met.

As a leader within the Rooms Division, this role demands a high level of collaboration with Engineering, Design, Finance, and Operations to ensure that the physical product of the hotel matches our guest expectation. The ideal candidate combines operational excellence with strong project management skills, particularly in the context of property upgrades, room refurbishments, and full-scale renovation projects.

What You will do:

• Lead and direct the Housekeeping, Laundry, Valet, and Public Area departments to uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, luxury service, and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee staffing strategy, performance management, scheduling, training, and development of all housekeeping teams.
• Implement and maintain systems for quality control in both housekeeping and laundry departments, inventory management, safety, and procedural efficiency.
• Serve as a core member of the Renovation Task Force, collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Procurement teams during the planning, execution, and final delivery of room and public area renovations.
• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally; identify recurring issues and implement preventative measures.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, including payroll, operational supplies, linen, uniform, and contract services.
