Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is looking for a Hotel Technician, focusing on Rooms, to join our Engineering team!

 

The Role:

The Perfect Room Technician is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and related areas are maintained to the highest standards of functionality, safety, and cleanliness. This includes preventive maintenance, timely repair, and aesthetic upkeep, ensuring a perfect room experience for every guest.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on guest rooms and related areas.
  • Perform repairs on fixtures, furniture, equipment, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and other in-room amenities.
  • Respond promptly to guest and housekeeping requests for maintenance services.
  • Inspect rooms daily to ensure compliance with brand and safety standards.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities using hotel systems (e.g., HotSOS or similar).
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.
  • Report and escalate any major defects or safety issues to supervisors.

 

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role, preferably in a luxury or 5-star environment.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
