Assistant IT Manager

Job Description

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Assistant IT Manager to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will support the IT Manager in overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, implementing new systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the IT department.

  • Assist in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to oversee the department’s daily operations and projects
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems
  • Analyze and resolve complex IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance of IT systems
  • Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for IT initiatives
  • Implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support the development and delivery of IT training programs for staff
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards
  • Provide regular reports on IT performance metrics and project status to senior management

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security protocols
  • Experience with IT project management and service delivery
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms and services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Proven track record of being a team player and motivating others
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on service excellence
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
  • IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous
