About the role: 

The Landscaper/Groundskeeper must be able to perform all duties efficiently through a wide range of constantly changing environmental conditions and duties. Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower. Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.

What you will do:

• Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding the resort.
• Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, pull weeds.
• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Follow all safety procedures for using equipment and chemicals.
• Actively greet guests in the resort, give right of way or stop equipment use while guests pass.
• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others.

What you bring:

• One to two years’ previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
• Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
• Strong communication skills
