About the role

 

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a Hotel Assistant Manager to lead our Front Desk team and deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual who inspires their team, ensures seamless operations, and upholds our commitment to service excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about guest experiences, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and fosters a positive and supportive team culture.

 

What you will do

  • Leads, trains, schedules, and evaluates the Front Desk team, ensuring performance standards are met and addressing disciplinary matters when necessary.
  • Resolves guest concerns with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, providing accurate information and accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Coordinates arrivals, departures, and billing needs with Sales and Catering, ensuring room blocks are accurate and that all Special Attention, Return, and Group guests are properly handled.
  • Ensures all financial and credit procedures are strictly followed, promptly addressing any credit concerns in partnership with the Director of Front Office and/or Credit Manager.

 

 

What you bring

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • The ability to multi-task on several assignments at once.
  • The ability to have strong communication skills between co-workers and guests.
  • The ability to operate computer equipment and a variety of systems.
  • College degree in hospitality or a related field prederred.
  • Two to three years previous experience in the rooms division.
  • Knowledge of various computer systems such as Opera, Givex, HOTSOS etc.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
