As a Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the hotel’s engineering operations, ensuring all facilities and systems function efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance schedules, leading the engineering team, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
This role requires strategic leadership and technical expertise to drive operational excellence and enhance guest and team member experiences. You will collaborate with other departments to maintain a well-functioning, energy-efficient, and safe environment.
What will I be doing?
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Operational Leadership
Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring all systems and equipment are well-maintained.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
• Team Management & Development
Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Facility Maintenance
Ensure the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Compliance & Safety
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local safety regulations, building codes, and hotel policies.
Implement and monitor safety protocols to protect guests, team member, and assets.
• Budgeting & Cost Control
