Join the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course team and help create memorable experiences for our guests in the stunning backdrop of Banff’s natural beauty. As a member of our Golf Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable golfing experience.
Preference will be given to those that are able to commit for the full season, April 21 to October 15, 2026.
Starting Rate: $18.84 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.91
Note: This position does not include staff accommodation.

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Golf Guest Service Supervisors, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Be the personality who greets and guides the guest upon their arriving experience at the golf course
• Communicate to each guest an orientation of the facility, such as the pro shop, dining room, snack bar, driving range, and practice facility
• Handle equipment and provide instructions for check in and pre round preparations, provide guests with rental equipment and power carts as required.
• Be accountable to the rental fleets programs ensuring each set of clubs and golf cart are in proper working order.
• Assist Retail during busy times with rental requests and cleaning
• Assist in the preparation for golf tournaments, execution and tear down
• Ensure the cleanliness of all areas is maintained to the standards set forth
• Aid the golfing guest with their practice facility experience
• Ensuring that the guest is at the appropriate first tee 10 minutes prior to their tee time.
• Completing routine checks of the driving range and practice facility to ensure the areas have the appropriate par stocks of range balls, bunkers are raked, and areas are clean and free of debris
• Operate the range picker machine as required throughout the shift to ensure adequate amount of range balls are picked, cleaned and restocked based on business volume.
• Greeting and interacting with golfers at the driving range and practice facility and anticipating their needs by offering a hitting area and adequate supply of range balls
• Other duties as assigned
