Mission:

During your supervisory shift, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and ensuring that the standards of hygiene, order, cleanliness, and maintenance of the rooms are met

What will I have to do?

  • To perform in a qualified and responsible manner the direction, control and monitoring of all tasks entrusted by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Perform the inspection of assigned empty and occupied rooms, ensuring that the room is in excellent condition in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, verifying that it meets all established brand standards.
  • Supervise the order and cleanliness of the housekeeping trolley at the beginning, during, and at the end of the operation. And assist staff with their immediate day-to-day needs.
  • To complete the checklist assigned to you for room inspections.
  • Inform the chambermaids about VIPs, specific cleaning schedules, complaints, follow-ups, deep cleaning of the day, etc.
  • Check the rooms and common areas.
  • Ensure that the team under your supervision complies with all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, room standards, environmental program, chemical usage, savings programs, phraseology, and any other established procedures.
  • Together with the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, manage the staff under your charge and assign the daily workload in each case.
  • Maintain control of master keys, equipment, supplies and any materials required by the personnel under your charge to perform their work, ensuring that there is always an adequate supply of the same.
  • Handle any customer complaints professionally, taking ownership of them and resolving them effectively.
  • Utilize computer tools to send tasks to other departments, review room updates, and schedule customer requests within the same department. Ensure that all customer requests are fulfilled within 15 minutes.
  • Monitor compliance with Brand Standards, Sensory Architecture, Cristal, AAA, Mystery Guest and any other evaluating body.
  • Take charge of training new staff during your supervisory shift.
  • On specific occasions or when necessary, she may cover the tasks of the Assistant Head Housekeeper or support in certain tasks such as inventories, orders, administrative tasks or assignment of tasks and distribution of the daily work of the chambermaids and cleaners.
