Account Manager

Job Description

 

As an Account Manager, you will work closely with both new and existing clients, helping to position our hotels as the preferred choice for meetings, events, business travel, and leisure stays. You will play an important strategic role in strengthening our market presence while nurturing long-term partnerships that deliver mutual value.

Ideally, you are based in or around Amsterdam and bring relevant experience from the hotel or hospitality industry. You have a natural talent for building relationships, identifying opportunities, and turning insights into impactful sales activities. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and help shape the commercial success of our Amsterdam properties.

Your primary responsibilities

  • Drive new business: Identify and contact potential customers to generate sales for our hotels.
  • Lead generation: Create new business opportunities through customer visits, phone calls, and market analysis.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain a strong customer portfolio focused on meetings, conferences, events, and individual stays.
  • Negotiation and implementation: Enter into and implement agreements with new and existing customers.
  • Data analysis: Evaluate customer performance and revenue with a view to growth.
  • Sales strategy: Develop and execute sales activities to reach personal and team goals.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Ensure effective internal and external collaboration.
  • Culture and work environment: Actively contribute to a strong and positive team environment.

 

Qualifications

 

We are looking for someone who can tick the following boxes:

  • Documented experience in sales and/or the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • High drive with a focus on sales and performance.
  • Independent with a hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
  • Passion for customer service and the hospitality industry – with a focus on creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Professional customer advisory skills and the ability to find optimal solutions.
  • High personal integrity and the ability to thrive in a performance-oriented environment.
  • Strong IT skills and experience with digital platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills – both spoken and written.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
