Group Sales Executive

Purpose

As our new Group Sales Executive, you are responsible for managing all group business enquiries from the initial enquiry through to final acceptance. You will join a friendly and passionate team who take pride in building rapport with clients, generating revenue and converting business, whilst ensuring excellent customer service is given throughout the Accor Apartments & Realty group accommodation booking process.

This is a fixed-term role lasting 6 months. 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to new business enquiries through a variety of channels in a professional and timely manner;
  • Produce and distribute client quotations and contracts as required, and conduct regular follow ups with the client to ensure conversion of the business
  • Building effective business relationships with key clients and travel agents through friendly customer service
  • Establishing a strong and trusted rapport with internal departments such as Sales, Revenue, Reservations and Hotels
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge across Accor Apartment & Realty’s property portfolio
  • Manage all groups within the Accor systems with 100% accuracy and efficiency
  • Complete daily tasks

 

Skills & Experience

  • Hold a minimum of 2+ years of Sales experience, ideally with experience within accommodation or travel (Preferable, though not essential).
  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner with the ability to instantly establish a strong rapport with clients verbally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Have a friendly and professional manner
  • Fast and accurate data entry.
  • Well-developed written and verbal skills.
  • Display a passion for problem solving skills and a willing approach to work well under pressure
  • Intermediate; Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required
  • Knowledge of Ivvy desirable yet not essential
