The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a motivated Stewarding Supervisor for Season 2026 (minimum 6-month contract).

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Stewarding team, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to sanitation standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment across all back-of-house areas.

What You Will Do

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards, including permanent, seasonal, and outsourced staff.
• Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment, and production areas in line with hotel standards.
• Ensure proper use and preventative maintenance of all stewarding equipment and machinery.
• Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and order in kitchens, back-of-house areas, storage, employee dining, and stewarding stations.
• Support banquet and kitchen operations by coordinating small ware, inventory, and delivery of items as needed.
• Assist in staff training, onboarding, and development initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards, including proper handling of equipment, chemicals, and waste.
• Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management of stewarding supplies.
• Act as a role model by maintaining high standards, leading by example, and promoting teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Steward or Executive Chef.
