General Technician

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable General Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our facility operations, ensuring that all equipment and systems run smoothly and safely. As a General Technician, you’ll take ownership of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Your hands-on expertise, combined with your problem-solving mindset and commitment to excellence, will directly impact our operational efficiency and safety standards. • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical manuals, drawings, and analytical skills to identify root causes efficiently
• Execute repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, prioritizing urgent issues while maintaining organized documentation
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify potential issues before they escalate, demonstrating proactive problem-solving
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and share knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used, time spent, and issues resolved
• Adapt to new technologies and equipment innovations, continuously expanding your technical skill set
• Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues about project status, challenges, and solutions

• Proven experience as a General Technician or in a similar maintenance role within a corporate or industrial environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze complex technical issues
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment drawings accurately
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and their maintenance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions
• High school diploma or technical/vocational certification (preferred)
• Valid safety certifications such as OSHA or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license for site visits and facility inspections across Dubai
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement
• Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and work environments
