The Opportunity

JW Marriott Berlin represents a flagship luxury address within Marriott International’s premium portfolio in Europe. As General Manager, you will be entrusted with leading a complex, high-profile operation in one of Europe’s most dynamic capital cities, balancing brand stewardship, owner partnership, commercial performance and people leadership at the highest level.

This role calls for an experienced luxury General Manager with the gravitas to represent the JW Marriott brand, the commercial acumen to drive sustainable results, and the emotional intelligence to lead a diverse, high-performing team in a culturally rich and fast-moving market.

Role Purpose

The General Manager is fully accountable for the overall performance of JW Marriott Berlin, including financial results, brand execution, guest experience, associate engagement, owner relations and long-term asset value. You will act as the cultural and strategic leader of the hotel, ensuring alignment with Marriott’s luxury standards while creating a distinctive, locally relevant experience.

Key Accountabilities

Business & Commercial Leadership

• Deliver strong financial performance across all revenue streams, with full ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning
• Drive topline growth through effective commercial strategy, pricing, distribution and market positioning
• Balance short-term performance with long-term asset value and brand integrity

Brand & Guest Experience

• Champion the JW Marriott brand ethos, ensuring consistent delivery of luxury service standards
• Create memorable, emotionally resonant guest experiences that reflect both the brand and the destination
• Act as brand ambassador for JW Marriott Berlin internally and externally
