Who are we looking for…?

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced accounting professional with leadership skills and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the hotel’s full accounting cycle, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting processes.

Position Purpose

To supervise and coordinate the hotel’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations, and the proper execution of monthly and annual closing processes, strengthening internal controls and financial efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include…

  • Overseeing daily accounting transactions (revenues, expenses, accruals, adjustments).
  • Reviewing and approving bank and account reconciliations.
  • Supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Leading monthly and year-end closing processes.
  • Reviewing journal entries in the general ledger.
  • Ensuring compliance with Spanish tax regulations (IGIC and other tax obligations).
  • Supporting financial statement preparation and corporate reporting.
  • Coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and standards.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities and strengthening internal controls.
  • Coaching and developing the accounting team.

What we expect from you… Education

  • Degree or Higher Vocational Training in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar is a plus.
