Concierge Supervisor

Job Description

 

  • Guest Service Excellence
  • Ensure all guests receive warm, professional, and personalized service at all times.
  • Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest preferences proactively.
  • Provide expert knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and events in Dubai.
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve complaints efficiently and diplomatically.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local vendors and service providers.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the concierge team.
  • Conduct daily briefings to ensure smooth shift handovers.
  • Monitor team grooming, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  • Train, coach, and mentor concierge team members.
  • Assist in scheduling and manpower planning.
  • Operational Duties
  • Ensure accurate logging of guest requests and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate transportation arrangements (taxis, airport transfers).
  • Oversee luggage assistance and bell desk operations.
  • Maintain updated information files, brochures, and digital guest resources.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and data privacy standards.
  • Administrative & Reporting
  • Prepare daily operational reports.
  • Track guest feedback and service recovery cases.
  • Monitor concierge desk inventory and supplies.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control for the department.
  • Team Supervision
  • Driving license is mandatory

 

Qualifications

 

  • Valid UAE driver’s license and ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Concierge or Front Office operations in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai’s key attractions, events, and luxury services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • High level of professionalism, grooming, and guest service orientation.
