Hotel Manager

Job Description

Are you Miss or Mister Organization, do you like to keep track of everything and immediately step up when there’s a crisis? Wonderful! We are looking for you.

As a hotel manager, known as a Hotel Team Captain at our company, you are open and communicative and take responsibility for your team. You lead by example, are an empathetic point of contact, and sometimes also a strong shoulder to lean on—in any case, you are a rock in the surf.

You say: delicious cake, but where’s my cherry on top?

We say:

  • 30 days of vacation
  • Financial security through a permanent employment contract
  • Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes, and plenty of freedom to make decisions
  • Attractive staff rates at all our hotels—including Radisson Hotels
  • Training and career opportunities within the entire prize family and the Radisson Hotel Group
  • The chance to play a long-term role in a constantly expanding company, and much more

What is there to do?

First things first: our hotel in Wrocław is a NEW OPENING! So we’re talking about a “once-in-a-lifetime adventure” here.

Do you get bored quickly when you always have to do the same thing? It’s a match! Your tasks offer you variety at its finest. Between the quiet of the office and the action directly with your guests, you’ll have it all! To summarize your main tasks:

  • You master the organizational aspects of hotel operations: writing duty rosters, on-the-job training, and team-building measures.
  • You also lend a hand at the reception desk, bar, or breakfast service when things get busy.
  • You’re not afraid of numbers: our number nerds need your help with budget plans and monthly financial statements.
  • You are the point of contact for the team and external parties on site, as well as our office in Hamburg.
  • You keep an eye on everything: you check stock levels, take inventory, and order our goods.
  • Let’s get this party started: you’re there when our team expands, bringing new team members on board, supporting them with advice and assistance, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • You report to your Regional Manager, who is always there for you when you need to talk.

Qualifications

What should you bring with you?

  • Fluent English skills, German skills are a big plus
  • Good humor, enthusiasm, and a pinch of composure
  • Independent, structured way of working, always with an eye on the big picture
  • Hands-on and start-up mentality
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • You are familiar with key company figures
  • Initial experience in team leadership and the hotel industry is an advantage
  • Very good German skills and good English skills
  • And most importantly: You are really excited to work with a great team and make a real difference in a growing hotel chain
