Housekeeping All Rounder

Mantra 2 Bond Street is centrally located in the Sydney CBD. Purpose

As a housekeeping all-rounder, you are a key player in the Housekeeping department and dazzle our guests by keeping our rooms super clean and paying attention to every tiny detail. Your role would also include delivering requests to guest rooms, ensuring there is a steady supply of Linen and amenities. Your responsibilities extend beyond the physical tasks and include collaborating harmoniously within the team and helping guests whenever needed. Your dedication ensures that every guest has a wonderful stay, leaving with cherished memories of great hospitality.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean all sections of the guest rooms, such as changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces, all to ensure an exceptional first impression
  • Work diligently within the established guidelines to achieve the impeccable standards we hold dear
  • Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organised and well equipped
  • Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
  • Respect guest privacy and security, upholding our commitment to their comfort
  • Report maintenance issues
  • Prioritise and promptly fulfil guest requests, including delivering amenities, beds, cots, blankets, and pillows, and collecting items from guest rooms as needed
  • Collaborate with all members of the housekeeping team to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Gather used linens from guest rooms and transport to the designated appropriate area
  • Handle chemicals and cleaning materials with safety

 

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience as a houseperson or room attendant is a plus
  • Your communication style is warm and welcoming where guests and team members alike feel right at home around you!
  • You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
  • You enjoy a physical role, navigating between rooms may involve using internal and external staircases and open pathways
  • You embrace collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays and some night work
