Managing Department Operations
- Manages day to day laundry operations, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to brand standards.
- Supervises daily shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Operates department equipment as required; reports malfunctions and implements contingency plans.
- Coordinates with Engineering on preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Evaluates and implements new processes, techniques, and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
Managing Department Financials
- Understands and monitors departmental budgets, payroll, and operating statements.
- Controls departmental expenses to meet or exceed budgeted targets.
- Orders and manages cleaning chemicals, uniforms, linen, equipment, and tools within approved budgets.
- Understands the impact of laundry operations on overall hotel financial performance.
Leading Teams
- Leads, supervises, and motivates associates to achieve productivity and quality standards.
- Ensures staffing levels and schedules align with operational needs and financial objectives.
- Communicates departmental goals clearly and consistently.
- Builds teamwork, trust, and accountability through effective leadership and communication.
Delivering Guest and Service Excellence
- Ensures laundry services consistently support guest satisfaction and Rooms operations.
