FT Cook II

We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our esteemed culinary team at the renowned Fairmont Olympic Hotel as a Cook II. This is a full-time position, mainly working dinner service in the staff cafeteria. As a Cook II, you will have the chance to learn and expand on your culinary skills while creating exceptional meals for the Olympic staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of cafeteria-style meals
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste
  • Handle food ingredients and kitchen equipment with care and precision
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service and production goals
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies

 

Qualifications

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required (can be acquired upon hire.)
  • Previous experience in the culinary field preferred
  • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
