Job Description

 

As a Host at Clockwork, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, embodying the high service standards of the Fairmont Royal York. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanour
  • Manage reservations, waiting lists, and special requests efficiently
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus, beverage lists, and hotel promotions
  • Maintain a clean and organised host stand
  • Communicate effectively with servers regarding reservations and guest needs
  • Assist with coat check services when necessary
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to improving guest experiences
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and hotel policies
  • Complete all assigned duties before concluding your shift
  • Promote teamwork and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues
