Host/ Hostess

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is in the midst of a multi-phase resort transformation, including all new venues, refreshed spaces, and evolving service models. Restaurant, Bar & Guest Services teams will be working in newly renovated spaces, with updated layouts, technology, and guest flow.

This role is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with change, open to learning new service standards, and energized by being part of a luxury environment that is actively evolving.

You will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Reporting to the General Manager Outlets, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Coordinate seating and flipping tables
• Understand the Server and Bus person’s tasks in the outlet and provide assistance as required
• Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
• Escort guests to their tables
• Organize reservations daily using Open Table reservation system
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Perform opening, cleaning and closing duties
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

What will you bring to this role?

• Previous guest facing customer service experience required in the last 3 years
• Food and beverage or retail experience required
• Alberta’s ProServe certification required
